This Moment in Time is a quilt I have been making on and off for the past ten years. Life tended to get in the way of my best intentions, but the ebb and flow of daily life caused me to create some flexibility in my schedule in my completion plans for this quilt.
Each patch holds a memory, a story fragment, or a specific event representing a tapestry of my quirky and beautiful life. My hope for my family is that the quilt leaves a narrative that warms not only the body but also captures the soul.
Each member of my family contributed in their unique way their thoughts and memories which went into the making of many of the blocks. We shared a few laughs and a few tears as memories were recalled. I hope that This Moment In Time will be around for generations to enjoy and rejoin the past.
