Quilt Story Labels are making a difference in people's lives

Granddaughter's Quilt

When my granddaughter packed for college, I knew I wanted to give her something that would remind her of home—a warm embrace even when I wasn’t there. So, I made her a special quilt.

On her first night in the dorm, her friends gathered in her room, admiring the quilt draped over her bed. They were captivated by its intricate design and vibrant colors, but what truly amazed them was when one of the girls noticed the QR code on the quilt label. With my granddaughter’s encouragement, they took turns scanning the code. One girl said it was like opening a Christmas present!

With one quick scan, they could see the personal message I had left for her, the pictures of her and me as she grew up, and listening to my voice deliver the message, filled with love, encouragement, and a few special memories from when she was a little girl.

Her friends were in awe, not just of the quilt's beauty but of the thought and connection it carried. They said it was like hearing a voice from home, even if it wasn’t theirs. Suddenly, they all wanted one of my quilts—a piece of handmade art, but more importantly, a way to hold on to something that mattered.

Wedding Quilt

I wanted to share my experience with your Quilt Story Labels. I recently used one of your labels on a wedding quilt for my youngest daughter and her new husband. I included a heartfelt message, a list of the wedding party, an audio recording of the best man’s toast, and wedding photos.

She was absolutely thrilled! Her older siblings were so impressed that they’ve requested labels for their quilts too. Your labels are truly making this year’s Christmas gifts extra special. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product.

Christmas Quilt

Last Christmas, I wanted to give my daughter something truly special, something that would wrap her in warmth not just from the fabric, but from the heart. So, I made her a beautiful Christmas quilt. Then I added something magical—I gave the quilt a voice.

On Christmas morning, she unwrapped the quilt and immediately marveled at its colors and patterns. It was already a gift she loved, but when I pointed out the QR code on the label, her curiosity was piqued. She scanned the QR code with her smartphone, and that’s when the real magic began.

Her phone came alive with a written message from me, along with photos of us together over the years—holiday moments and family memories woven into the story of her life. But it even got better! She pressed play on the voice recording and heard me speaking directly to her, sharing my love, my wishes, and a few stories from Christmases past. She laughed, and I saw her eyes well up with tears.

In that moment, the quilt became more than just a gift. It became a living memory, something she could hold onto for years to come. The magic of the quilt story label had made this Christmas unforgettable.

Now, I know that the best gifts aren’t just the ones you give—they’re the ones that connect you, heart to heart, with the people you love most.
